I really enjoyed seeing these next two clips.  It reminds me WHY we do what we do!  Much of what we do behind the scenes is to plan, stage and then execute a celebration so it is spontaneously enjoyed by the wedding guests in attendance.   The first clips shows the rehearsal and staging that took place by 400 dancers who were about to spontaneously treat an unsuspecting audience – at a train station in Liverpool England – to a phenomenal show.  It was for a T – Mobile commercial.  In the second video, you will see the finished product.  The unsuspecting guests were blown away. Again, we can positively affect the lives of others when we plan, stage and then execute a spectacular celebration for our guests.

1 Week To Go . . .

In just one week, on April 2nd, the Peppermill Resort Casino will host book author Peter Merry for a one-night-only FREE seminar to be held in the Capri Ballroom (formally known as the Tahoe Ballroom) located on the 4th floor.  This event will be sponsored by the Peppermill Resort Casino, Weddings of the West, Nevada Wedding Network and American Disc Jockey Association.  The event begins at 6pm.  No RSVP is required, but we expect a full house and seating is on a first come, first served basis.  So arrive early and be prepared to enjoy an informative oration from one of the best and most in-demand seminar presenters in the wedding industry.

March Madness and the Final Four Collegiate Basketball Tournament is always an exciting time of year. Wedding proposals are always joyful, right? Well, not always!  With a full month of basketball upon us, it seems like a fine time to show what happens when basketball and proposals collide. It’s something we don’t see all that often. Here are two unbelievably embarrassing moments. Sadly the center court, a live crowd and a television viewing audience can be as unpredictable as a 30 foot jump shot with seconds on the clock in a national championship basketball contest. GAME OVER!!!

It’s not every day when a girl wearing a wedding dress is proposed to.  Such was the case at this 2007 wedding show.  The male model, dressed in his tuxedo, decides to pop the question to his girlfriend who is on-stage modeling a wedding dress.  As the other models look on, the surprised girlfriend excitedly said “yes”.  The audience loved every minute of it.
