The Expo Packed Them In!!!

Sunday October 26th was an exciting day as Lockett Incorporated presented the 12th annual Bridal and Beauty Expo. The perfect weather allowed for brides and their entourage to make their way to The Reno/Sparks Convention Center for a fun-filled day of food samples and fashion shows. As several hundred future brides slowly browsed from booth-to-booth you could see the creative light of inspiration ignite. Who knew all this was available in “The Biggest Little City in the World?”
The anticipated fears of an economic slowdown for our industry were non-existent as a steady stream of wedding couples filled the aisles throughout the day. It was certainly a very optimistic start for the wedding booking season in Northern Nevada.
As you can imagine the “who’s who” of the wedding industry was represented with approximately 150 vendors. The range of services provided ran from traditional to exotic. On the traditional end there were a number of venues represented along with Bakeries, Photographers, Entertainers, Dance Instructors, Planners and more who were all there to give brides sound options for their upcoming wedding. Additionally, there were Lenders, Realtors and Travel Agents on-board for some post-nuptial planning.
It would be fair to say that the Reno/Tahoe Wedding Industry is alive and well and this years’ Bridal and Beauty Expo was a great representation of what the area has to offer.
